XCOM: Enemy Unknown, 2K Games conferma una data di release ufficiale -  Creata e portata per la prima volta sul mercato verso l'inizio inoltrato degli ormai lontani anni '90, la saga strategica XCOM, creata da Mythos Game, ha appassionato al tempo molti videogiocatori grazie ad avventure che permettevano ai giocatori di vivere in prima persona una vera e propria invasione della terra da parte di una misteriosa razza aliena disposta a tutto per eliminare qualsiasi essere umano.Dopo un lungo periodo di assenza è stato confermato ufficialmente che un nuovo titolo legato a quel franchise ed intitolato semplicemente XCOM sarà rilasciato prossimamente su PC e console in alta definziione, ma oltre a quel progetto arriverà presto nei negozi anche un ulteriore videogame, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, realizzato dal team Firaxis Games per 2K Games, sviluppato appositamente come una sorta di remake del primo indimenticabile capitolo di questa serie.
